what can you do with this road you can hide it
you can fill it in you cant make a wish
for it or on it you can take it away coming at you
all the time from a narrow choice of directions
with a sound from that could run its own cars
what can you learn from it
leaving its soft shoulders all over the place
and knowing its way
i get up outdoors and make my way
to the bridge covered ny dreams and washed away
